About Me
I am Gabriel and I created PrimaPix Visuals as a way to share my passion; photography.
I have always been intrigued with photography. In 2019, I bought my first DSLR, a Nikon D7500. In 2020 I bought my first drone, a DJI Mini 2. As time passed and my experience and knowledge continued to grow, I wanted to create an identity to share and grow my work.
In 2021, PrimaPix Visuals was created. “Where does PrimaPix Visuals come from?” you may ask. Many photographers use their name as their artistic identity. But as a way to honor my late grandfather, I did not. Being of both Mexican and German descent, in German, my grandpa would would always tell me “Prima Gabriel!” whenever I did something great. In German “Prima” means great or fantastic. “Prima” was combined with “Pix” as a way to describe my visuals, dubbing the birth of the name, PrimaPix Visuals.
Although I have mainly treated photography as a hobby up until this point, today I aspire to become a full time photographer. I have had my work featured on ESPN prime time, NBC, and HGTV. I aspire to become a mentor, a coach, a teacher, and somebody that others can look up to in the photography industry. I aspire to do this in a way that would make those that I cherish proud. I aspire to do this in a way in which I can hear my grandpa telling me “Prima Gabriel!” once more!
